A Snowy Stay in Lake Tahoe
We spent Memorial Day weekend (actually the whole week for those of us lucky enough to not be tied down by school and work!) in Tahoe City with the Choys which has become a very fun annual tradition. And for the second year in a row, we had snow! Last year we had a pretty light dusting for the first few days and then the sun made it's appearance. This year however, we had a whole lot of snow...all week long! The boys had a blast and we all enjoyed how beautiful Tahoe is with a layer of fresh powder. We tried to work in time outside whenever we could so there were many family snowball fights, snow angels, and even a snowman. Here are a whole lot of pictures of the fun:
This is one of our family's favorite places- it's so fun to bring Jack and Miles to the same spot we vacationed as kids!
Bundled up for our first walk on the dock
Brrr! The Hamilton's freezing on the dock
Day 1 of the snow- this is the view from our front door
The boys could have played in the snow for hours (wait, I think they did actually)
Miles running down a mini-hill of snow (fearless, that one!)
Happy boys
Working on a snowball
Posing with their snowman
Our snowman was a family effort (90% Evan, 10% the boys and me!)
Miles loved eating the snow!
Evan and Jack tossed many snowballs around
Ready for another taste
Yum!
