Merry Christmas!

The boys had lots of fun getting ready for Santa last night and tearing into the loot this morning! Here are pictures of the festivities:

Miles was excited to celebrate his 1st Christmas!

Although we spent lots of time stopping him from doing this...

What? I didn't touch anything!

Reading stories together on Christmas Eve

We tried to get a picture of the boys together, but Miles had his own opinions about that...

Mommy and Jack getting Santa's cookies ready (we had to sample a few too!)

Santa brought Jack a workbench and tools

Opening the new crane from Mommy and Daddy

Miles quickly learned that Great Grandma Eleanor makes the best gingerbread cookies!
We hope you all enjoyed a Merry Christmas!

What? We're not doing anything...

Caught red-handed!
P.S. Love the way that Jack is also holding tightly to the bubble wrap (he's been popping these for days) as he's helping Miles to be naughty!!!

Jack's Winter Gymnastics Show

Today was the last day of Jack's gymnastics class before the two week winter break. To celebrate, each class performed skills on a circuit in the "big gym". Here are some pictures of our big guy and his new tricks.

Marching into the big gym like a choo-choo

Warming up on the trampoline

Practicing on the bars

Arms up for a forward roll
Jack's class marching to the start of the circuit
First skill- the trampoline

Jack does a seat drop/stand up jump

Now time for a possum hang (with a little help from Ms. Cory)

Forward roll

Sideways walking on the balance beam

Climbing the ladder

Time for a ribbon and a candy cane!

Brrrr...It's Cold!

CHILLY! That's the best description for the weather here lately- lows in the 20's overnight and highs topping out in the low 40's. Yesterday we even had a light dusting of snow! Needless to say, we've been entertaining ourselves indoors this week. Here are a few pictures:

Miles shows off his new trick- pulling himself up to stand! He looks pretty innocent here, but he is our miscief maker these days...pulling paper out of the recycling bin, trying to eat the Christmas tree branches, doing his best to unplug the night light in the hall...I spend most of my day keeping Miles out of the ER!

The boys are starting to play together which is so sweet to watch. Here Jack is telling Miles that they will make brownies in the yellow bowl (Jack is the boss!)

Miles has a mind of his own- "I want to make Cheerios Jack!"

This morning Jack made his first gingerbread house. Can't decide if he had more fun licking his fingers or sampling the treats!

Showing off the finished masterpiece!
