It's Raining, It's Pouring...

It hasn't stopped raining here for a long time. Seriously, we've spent day after day inside. With 2 very high energy little boys :) Here's what we've been up to:

Happy Birthday Julie!

A few weeks ago we headed down to Fremont to celebrate Aunty Julie's birthday. Julie has always been a big help to us, but especially in the last weeks of Kathy's life and the time immediately following. Honestly, I think she spent more weekends here than at her own house as she babysat the boys again and again, freeing us up to visit Kathy and also make arrangements after she passed away. We couldn't have managed it all without her. So, when Julie's birthday came around, we wanted to make her day extra special...with her favorite lobster dinner! Evan was in charge of the cooking and we all had fun celebrating together:

Jack was a little unsure about the whole lobster experience and opted for a hot dog instead...someday he'll learn!

Jack the Lifeguard

Jack volunteered to watch Miles while he played in the bath last night. He pulled the little chair in there and everything. It was pretty cute. Bonus, I got to fold the laundry (right around the corner) while Jack worked on his lifeguarding skills.

Celebrating Valentine's Day

Last month we invited Jack and Miles' neighborhood friends over for a Valentine's Day party at our house. We had a lot of fun decorating heart shaped sugar cookies with more frosting and sprinkles than you can imagine...

Then we moved on to creating Valentines with stickers and stamps:

Miles lost his shirt after having a little too much fun with the frosting, but that didn't slow him down one bit! Here he is making his own Valentine with Deana :)

Little ones + holidays = lots of fun!
